Dereck Paul
Dereck Paul is the President and CEO of Lakefront Utility Services, which is progressive electricity and water utility in Cobourg with 10,000 customers and a vision/mandate to be both a net-zero and fully digital organization by 2035. Dereck obtained his Chartered Director designation from DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and held various executive positions at Toronto Hydro, Sprint International, Tech Data Canada and the Electricity Distributors Association prior to joining Lakefront Utilities. He works closely with different levels of Governments and their agencies, including the Ministry of Environment, Conservation & Parks and Ontario Energy Board. Dereck served as Director and Treasurer on the Cornerstone Hydro Electric Concept (CHEC) board and is a current board member on the Ontario Municipal Water Association.
