Emcee: Keith McDonald

Founder, the literacy AI project Toronto

Keith likes to joke that he can predict the future – the not too distant future mind you – but the future. Demonstrating strategic foresight, Keith founded his literacy AI project in 2017 and many of his thoughts and predictions came true: including how teachers, parents and students would need to be learning about Artificial Intelligence – how AI would change everything around us – and how AI would become one of the most important subjects to understand in this decade. His background is in communications, Information Technology and teaching along with performing arts and music. In the open data field, he is best known as the first Open Data Lead for the City of Toronto and as past Director of Communications for Go Open Data. This is his fourth time serving as GOOD's conference MC.
