Currently Director of Education, Go Open Data, and Director of Digital Innovation, Sustainable Cobourg, He brings a broad perspective to understanding Artificial Intelligence, big data and machine learning and the challenges they pose to liberal democracy. His areas of expertise include using digital tools and open data to address local challenges and to support formal and non-formal education. He enjoys outdoor activities and travelling with friends and family in Canada and Germany.
