Craig Stephens
Craig is the Specialist, Energy & Environment at the Town of Caledon where he focuses on programs, policies and projects that help lower the energy and environmental impacts of the Town’s Corporate operations. He is the Town’s Energy Manager and Chair of the Corporate Energy Team, which uses data benchmarking, tracking and performance metrics to ensure reductions in energy use and emissions.
Prior to working with the Town of Caledon, while completing a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Electric Vehicle Systems, Craig worked as a NRCan Registered Energy Advisor (REA) where he was able to assist over 400 households achieve significant energy and financial savings. Craig also has a mechanical background and built his own hybrid-electric motorcycle as a proof of concept.
